- Backing up the Distribution Disk...
-
- Before proceeding further, we highly recommend making a
- backup copy of the distribution disk and subsequently using
- only the backup while keeping the distribution disk in a
- safe place. To do this use the MS-DOS command for copying
- disks. At the C:> prompt type
-
- DISKCOPY A: A: (or your drive if not A:)
-
- followed by <Enter> and then follow the instructions on the
- screen. You will need one single-sided, double-density
- floppy disk or larger.
-
- Alternatively or if your backup is to be a diskette of a
- different size, you may copy all the files using the command
-
- COPY A:*.* B: (or your drive designations)
-
-
- Installation...
-
- If you do not want to install the program on your hard disk,
- you may skip this step and run it directly from a copy of
- the distribution disk.
-
- Installing the program on your hard disk simply entails
- copying all the files to your chosen subdirectory. Use the
- following MS-DOS commands to make a subdirectory, transfer
- to it, and copy the program disk.
-
- MD ANAGRAM
- CD ANAGRAM
- COPY A:*.*
-
-
- Running the Program...
-
- Assuming you are in the subdirectory containing the Anagram
- Helper files, start the program by typing
-
- ANAGRAM
-
- followed by <Enter>.
-
- Anagram Helper is simple to operate, but you may want to
- read and/or print the information contained in the file
- ANAGRAM.DOC for further understanding.
